After leaving Shen, I spent a year at SUNY Brockport studying communications, with plans of transferring to Syracuse or UCLA. Decided it wasn't the thing and went on an exchange in my Sophmore year to the Bayrische Julius-Maximilians Universität Würzburg. Stayed and got my Masters in East Slavic Philology with minors in West Slav. Phil. and American Lit. Based on work done as a student, I started a Marketing Communications/PR firm in Würzburg at age 23. Landed GM Europe as my first big client and it took off from there. e for American expats called "Germany, Inc." Got married to Christine, who is from Germany, in Saratoga, Springs in 1995. Returned to the States at the end of 1997 and moved to Annapolis, MD. Started CHART in 1998, a firm helping European companies enter the US market and vice versa. Out of that consulting also wound up with a construction firm and built a LEED Platinum Certified green building. 2 young kids 8 and 5 years old and a dog. Like to sail the Chesapeake in the summer and ski in the winter. Still playing guitar and started playing violin again in '08 after a 28 year hiatus.
