28 July 2011 Berlin, Germany - did not visit the US as wished. Since September working for a new employer; a smaller firm with 10 employees - still working as an engineer in the areas of housing, commercial and small business. 13.February 2010 Berlin, Germany - Half a year has passed since my last log - I am back in Berlin since 8.February - new employer - Ebert Ingenieure Berlin - Consulting Engineers - we are 15 Engineers in Berlin and 300 in Germany and 10 in Washington DC. It is good to be "home" without all the commuting. I plan on visiting the US this summer - its been 7 years since my last visit.

nce changing jobs - from Hamburg to Cologne, but still living in Berlin. My marital status is still single, but I am very much committed to my German dame - who continues to put up with me and my quirks of the past 14 + years. My Photo is a bit dated - is from Spring 2005 on a boat trip between Atolls in the Maldives - (a few days after the tsunami) together with local engineers and assessors, checked damages to homes etc. belonging to ordinary local inhabitants on several islands.
Presently I am working for "ifes GmbH" Institute for Energy Saving Technologies and Sustainable Building Design - I am presently consulting Architects, Engineers and Investors on New and Refurbish Projects to be LEED Certified, also several DGNB Certifications, including Energy Modeling and Daylighting.
