Richard's Story
My Life-
After graduating from Northside I went to work for Bluebird in Ft. Valley for about 7 years as a machinist and tool and die operator. Married Shelia Brooks (class of 72), had 2 children, Melvin 1973 and Sharon 1974. Went to work on the Base in WR and have been there for 30 years.
Now have 3 grandchildren/Melvin has 2 girls, Katie 2 and Chloe 1. Sharon has 1 girl, Brooke 4. (Need some boys). They both live in Byron and are both in the computer industry.

have worked in Manufacturing most of my career on base and am now a Quality Inspector preparing us for the upcoming LSET inspection. Have been an LSET inspector of other bases for a couple of years now.
I raise registered Black Angus Cows and hay in my spare time, but will probably go full time when I retire. We have an 11 year old spoiled cocker spaniel named "Spanky" that is my buddy!
