Richard's Story
From Graduation in 68, I departed for the United States Air Force, after getting a draft card and a letter from the Marines while still in school. Spent the next 25 years in the Air Force, retiring in September 1992. Was stationed in Thailand, Korea, Japan, Germany, Spain, Italy and Turkey. Visited many counties overseas, and was part of Desert Storm. Met my wife in South Korea. We just celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary. My first wife passed away. We had a daughter, who herself, graduated from Ramstein High School, Germany, in 1988. She in turn now lives in Las Vegas, with her family. She is an accountant with the Venician, while my son-in-law is a construction superintendent there. We have for grandchildren...Expand for more
, the oldest is in her 2nd year at UNLV. We came back to Sacramento in 1990 from Germany. Wanted to go to South Carolina, but my wife insisted we come back here and take care of my elderly parents. My mom has since passed on. My in-laws, who live in a very remote part of South Korea, come and visit us every now and then. We love to Fish and Camp, anyting to do with the outdoors. We purchased an RV a couple of years back after years of tenting. I have been employed since 1992 as a security operations manager here in Sacramento, and do some traveling. My wife has been employed with JC Penneys since 1992, and is womens department manager. Going to continue working or another 9 years, then take the RV and hit the road.
