Rick's Story
After 21 years in the Kansas City metro area, I moved to Sedalia, MO at the end of June, 2008. I am lead pastor at a United Methodist Church. After leaving HHS, I attended College at SMSU (now MSU). Reta and I were married while in college. After SMS, I pursued a Master's at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. A few years later I returned to SMU to complete a doctorate. Besides my church I also serve as a Police Department Chaplain and have Chaired the Board of Directors for a mental health agency. I have 3 children, ages 35, ...Expand for more
31, and 27 (as of December, 2009). My 3 children and 6 grandchildren are all in the Kansas City area. Tanya directs preschool for a northland school district and Deanna works for a property management company. Jared is a manager with Hy-Vee. Reta and I were divorced in 2001. In October 2003 I married Debie, an attorney practicing in Kansas City, MO. Since we moved, she has been working as the Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Henry County, MO. I'd be thrilled to hear from any of you HHS, MSU, or SMU grads out there. Life is good!
