Rick's Story
Retired Chaplain for Pierce County Sheriff's Department. It was my dream job and I loved getting up every day to go to work. (Or at two o'clock in the morning when I got called out). I feel that I have been blessed to help people get through some of their most difficult moments. Although it can be challenging and sometimes heart wrenching, it was very very rewarding. ssings to help people walk through the loss of a loved one and the grief and shock of being told that they would never see their loved one again. I am still the Chaplain for South Sound 911 Dispatch and continue to minister to combat vets and retired emergency responders. ( I was a volunteer fireman in CA and am a combat Marine Sgt… Vietnam 67-68) I am ordained through Foursquare and continue to do weddings and funerals and training for chaplains.
