Rick's Story
I joined the United States Air Force instead of college in August 1974. I was a law enforcement officer throughout my career. I married in 1976 while stationed in Texas to a Tex Mex young lady named Della and had two boys. We were stationed in Texas, Crete (Greece), North Carolina, Azores and ended my 20 year career in Florida. My oldest son, Jeremy or JR is a Major in the Air Force and flys the F-16 fighter jet. mic Studies at a college in South Carolina. After retiring in 1994, I became an Airport Police Officer for a few years before moving south to Lakeland in 2003 during our divorce. She decided it was time for her now after our boys graduated high school. I worked for the Polk County Sheriff's Office until 2011. I'm currently retired and enjoying Florida, but not so much the ridiculous humidity...
My boys and their high school sweethearts were married in 2000 and have given me five great grandkids. My only wish is that they lived closer!!!!
