After High School I worked for a few years at my stepfathers business in Bellflower. In 1980 I got a job at Modern Alloys Highway Contractors in Stanton, CA. I was in a relationship for a few years with Toni Lucas. During the 80's I was the singer in a band with Rodney Ferre, Cary Alter and Leonard Saldana. We were called Toyz. We played parties and wherever we could get a chance to perform. We broke up in 1983 as well as Toni and I. After this I was involved with a couple of bands during the 80's, White Lie and Straight Shooter. We played original rock music and performed in all the local O.C. clubs. I also did some recording for an O.C. band called Flynn. I wasn't actually in their band, but they asked me to record the vocals for their demo so they could attract a singer.
