Rick's Story
Life
Trumpeter Rick Jones is an alumnus of Berklee School of Music and the Air Force Band of the Golden Gate, and has performed with Nancy Wilson, The Stylistics, The Ink Spots, Louie Bellson, and The Drifters, Malo w/George Santana, Arturo Sandoval, Dennis Roland, and Ike Cole. Rick has also performed in opening acts for Vic Damone, Celia Cruz, George Duke and Stevie Wonder.
Milwaukee is Rick's home town where he performed with jazz greats Manty Ellis, Will Green, Brian Lynch, and Melvin Rhyne and also led his own Jazz quintet. After his stint in the Air Force band he moved to Phoenix where he performed with the jazz crowd there including Dennis Mellen, C.C. Jones, Devon Bridgewater, Francine Reed, Abel Valentino, Tony Malaby, Paul Stubblefield and Bob Tate and his own band "Bright Moments". Rick also worked for Phoenix agent Katie Lorant who took Rick under her wing and mentored him in the music agent and entertainment business.

ces include venues such as Walt Disney World, Disneyland, The Montreaux Jazz Festival, Milwaukee's Summerfest and Italianfest, State Fairs in California, Arizona and Wisconsin, Live Radio, Television and Technical Consultant to Christopher Walken on the movie "The Prophecy".
For the last 12 years Rick has been running his own entertainment support and consulting business, LasVegasShowcase. His videos have been displayed on the famous Las Vegas Strip video marquees and on in-house TV at major Las Vegas resorts. In September of 2003 Rick resumed his career as a trumpeter and band leader on the Las Vegas scene. In Las Vegas Rick has worked with many local performers including Billy Wallace, Benny Bennet, Dick Fazio, Melanie Moore, Selina Baker, Brian O'shay, David DeCosta, Dennis Mellen, and many more.
Rick released his first CD, *Standard Time*, in October of 2006. His second CD "Rick Jones and Dick Fazio Live at Destefano's" was released May 2007.
