Life
If you are reading this and went to school with me, believe it or not we are overt 60 years old. I left Germany in the summer of 1969 not wanting to go. I have basically lived in California, until moving to Idaho in 2010. I got married in 1975 and had three kids. Got divorced after 17 years and started the dating game all over again(fun). 10 years later I married Cheryl and we have been having fun since. We now have three grandkids in Littleton, Co and one grandson in Laguna Hills. We have another coming in the next couple months.
8000 of my friends and I were all given time off for good behavior. That put an end to 22 years in the banking industry. We are currently transitioning to our place in Idaho Falls. We attend Calvary Chapel up here. I think I'm the only one up here who went to Calvary Chapel when it was first in a tent in Costa Mesa, circa 1970. Am looking forward to catching up with a few of my old classmates.
School
I went to four different High schools. Started in 1967 at Corona Del Mar, 1968 at Hahn. 1...Expand for more
969 at General HH Arnold dorms and finally 1970 at Newport Harbor. After graduating went to Orange Coast College, got a BA in Psych from Biola College and a MBA from Pepperdine.
College
I first went to a Junior College and then went to Biola College. I took a year off from Biola when I had a collapsed lung, staff infection and heart surgery. I graduated with a degree magnum cum lousy in psychology. When I got out, there were a few options available in county jobs at $12K per year. I opted for a truck driver job at $18K a year, my college career told me that 18 was far better than 12.
After a couple of years I started at Pepperdine and got my MBA. It took a little longer than expected, as I took time off for having a couple of kids.
Workplace
10 years at 7-up bottling of los angeles. 22+ years at World Savings, now Wachovia. In 2008 was a casualty of the mortgage meltdown and was laid of in the fall . We bought property in Idaho to set up a small horse ranch. California real estate has given us extra equity to do this.
