Rick's Story
After high school I worked at Boeing with Scott Sanders and Tom Smith. The Draft found me in June of 66, without deferments I became a Viet Nam Era Vet much to my dissatisfaction. I began college after my service, and finally graduated from the U of W with an anthropology degree . I wasn't able to obtain work with that education, so I began "handymaning"!! It went well for me; within a few years I obtained a General Contractor's license and began hiring carpenters. I ran my own business, as a custom builder and remodelor, for 34 year...Expand for more
s in Seattle. Last summer I retired, and I am enjoying that too! I have a 23 year old daughter, whom I see weekly (when she brings her laundry over!). I have lived in the North End of Seattle since 1984.
I have been to a couple small, informal, reunions in The Edmonds Park that were fun. And, the Class of 64's Gala Reunion in 2004 was an absolute blast. They wisely opened their reunion to the classes of 65 and 63.
Well, I guess that's the thumb nail sketch. Our paths in life aren't always planned well in advance!
