Richard (Rick)'s Story
I retired from the US Army in 1996 after 30 years service as a AH-1 Cobra helicopter pilot and Aircraft Maintenance Officer, and worked for a large corporation as a senior executive/programs manager for 10 years.
I went to college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida and Graduate school at the University of LaVerne in Laverne, California. I have a BS and MS in Business Management.
I suffered three minor heart attacks in 1999, 2003 and 2004. I suffered a major heart attack in March 2007, which has caused some brain damage and memory loss due to the lack of oxygen goi...Expand for more

Now, I do volunteer work as the Director of Retiree Activities Programs for the federal government and am a member of the Board of Trustees in Papillion, Nebraska SID #228.
Married in 1969 and divorced in 1983 from Sydni Hogg (HHS '67), I have two daughters and 3 grandsons.
I own 2 houses; one in Papillion, Nebraska and one in San Antonio, Texas. I also own a 1965 Corvette Stingray that I bought in 1999 as a retirement present to myself.
I also do volunteer work for the Elf Louise foundation, Alamo Heights United Methodist Church and Raul Jimenez foundation in San Antonio.
