Rick's Story
Life
After graduating Martin County it went like this. Two years at IRCC, Two years in Dallas, Texas at a Bible College, Two years back in Martin County, Six years in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Three years in Nashville, TN., Fifteen years in Columbia, TN., And three years back in Martin Couty.
Most of those years I spent as a youth minister working with teenagers and as a songwriter/musician, leading worship bands in various ministry scenarios.
After a 24 year absance from the Martin County area I had a very strong sense, (a vision if you will), that I was to return to the area and start a church. to do it. But after my family agreed that it was a good thing - we sold everythying - packed up the rest and made the move.
After relocating my wife and four children in May of 2005, we began Renaissance Community Church in July of that same year. Our church meets at the Regency 8 Cinema on the corner of US-1 and Monterey Rd. in Stuart at 9:30 am on Sundays. If you wanna know more about it check out our web site at renchurch.com.
I have four children. My oldest son, Nate, is in his 3rd year at IRSC. My second son, Canaan, will attending IRSC after having just graduated from Clark Advanced Learning Center in Salerno. My third son, Elijah, will be in 9th grade and my little girl Alli in sixth. My wife of 30 years, Natalie, is a professional photographer and owns and opporates "Portraits by Natalie". There you have it. My bios. Hope to hear from some of you. Thanks and God bless, Rick
