Rick's Story
Graduated from Hall in '68, graduated from IVCC in '70. Went to NIU. Worked for Caterpillar in Aurora for 15 years, started working for the News Tribune in '86 as an account executive and retired November 1st 2012. I have remained in the area, living in Spring Valley, then LaSalle, then Peru and back now in Spring Valley. My hobbies are traveling, golfing, hunting and playing in pool leagues. ing again after I retire. I'm on Facebook so if anyone needs to get a hold of me and reminisce that would be great. I still stay in touch with many of my friends and classmates.
Growing up in Spring Valley, baseball, youth football, cub scouts, grade school, high school sports, band, fishing down the river, the list goes on. I also served on the Spring Valley City Council as 4th Ward Alderman from 2001-2013 for 3 terms.
