Richard's Story
Lived all over California (see "School" & "Work" tabs) until drafted in '73. First married in '72-'74, with son, Greg, born in '72. Spent 25 years in the Army (see "Military" tab). Second marriage '74-'79, with two daughters, Melissa born in '75, Kristina in '77. Third marriage '79 to present... no kids, just cats! Took advantage of in-service educational opportunities and moved up the ranks. Spent 16 of the 25 years in assignments in various parts of Germany. Retired in Texas (cheaper than California). Workplace
Odd jobs until drafted in '73. Then served 25 years in the Army, mostly as a PA, before retiring in '98. Took 6 months off and went back to work as a PA for the VA until 2006. Now RETIRED retired... and loving it!
Military
Drafted in '73... trained as a medic... 8 years enlisted, 2 of those in PA School... served as Warrant Officer PA for 11 years... then commissioned reaching the rank of Major before I retired. Served 16 of 25 years in Germany. Various locations. Final assignment at Ft. Sam Houston, TX.
