After High School I attented Texas Southmost College in Brownsville while working at JC Penney (Sun Valley Mall) and also at the Sport Palace Gym in Harlingen. Now those two jobs were probably the most fun I ever had working a job in my entire life. Moved to San Marcos, Texas in January of 1983 to attend Southwest Texas State University. Actually roommated with my cousin Ronnie Juarez and Ricky Serrano (class of 1980). After the 6 1/2 yr plan I finished my BBA with a major in Accounting. I still don't know how I pulled that one off. College was tough for me as no one in my family had ever earned a college degree. Probably one of my proudest accomplishments. I started working for a small manufacturing company here in San Marcos for 11 years before it closed down. Then started working for Butler Manufacturing Company in 1998 and am going on 11 years now.
