Rick's Story
Life
Well folks here goes-
After MCHS I attended three different colleges (just couldn't make up my mind). Played on the golf team at all three. Played with several guys who were or are on PGA Tour, Lee Janzen, Rocco Mediate, Greg Kraft just to name a few. Received my Bachelor's from the U of Tampa in 1986. Turned Pro that year and played professionally on the Orlando Tour until 1990. Worked at IRP on the Hutchinson Island for a couple years then took a seasonal job in Chicago for Dick Hart, father of Rick Hart class of '84. I entered the PGA of America in 1989 and accepted a Head Professional position in downtown Chicago in '90. I worked at the East Bank Club (the world's largest Health Club) for 5 years at and indoor Driving Range. I then became the Head Golf Pro at Michael Jordan Golf Center in Aurora, IL (1 year), The Director of Golf at Family Golf Center in Chicago (5 years), Head Pro of the Nike Golf Learning Center in Hillside, IL (2 years) and now have just taken a new position with the Multicultural Golf Assoc. of America. he PGA Tour and USA Networks. The MGAA is headquatered in New York, but I have a home office in Chicago and Jensen Bch, FL. Maybe in my travels we can hook-up if anyone is interested. Personally I own my own home, two cars, have two cute little beagle puppies, am still single but hoping to settle down someday and overall pretty happy with the way life has turned out so far. I am an member of The United Church of God. Have one brother, Bryan, from the class of "84. Bryan lives in Washington DC and has two children. I have been very fortunate to travel throughout most of America, Europe and parts of the Mideast. Took up Scuba Diving in college and still try to go as often as I can. I hope to purchase a new boat in the near future for fishing and diving excursions at home in Florida with family and friends. For those of you who knew my mom Carole, from teaching at Jensen Elem. and Langford Ballpark,she recently passed away on 12/6/02 from cancer. My dad, Dick, still lives in the same home.
