Rick's Story

Graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Accounting. Went to work for KPMG in Richmond Va. Lived in the Fan area. Transferred to the Norfolk office in 1981. Left KPMG in 1986 to work for Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters as their first Chief Information Officer. In 1988 became the Senior Vice President for Financ...Expand for more
e and Chief Financial Officer. In charge of building a new hospital in early 2000 which came in on time and budget. In 2006 decided I had enough of healthcare and decided to retire. Don't miss the daily commute from Virginia Beach Oceanfront to Norfolk each day. Have lived in the same neighborhood since 1983. Just five blocks from Atlantic Ocean.
