After graduating from Santa Ana High in 1970 I received a partial Baseball scholarship to Cal Poly Pomona and majored in P.E. with a Marketing minor. I played baseball for 2 years and lost interest and changed my major to Marketing / Sales and minored in P..E. I continued on for 4 more years. I worked many part time jobs to pay my way through college. My favorite part time job was selling Surfboards for David Nuuiwa and Corky Carrol from 1970-1972 in Huntington Beach on Main Street, across the street from the pier. I got to go surfing everyday when I worked their and had a blast I love the beach and love to ride bikes at the beach.. - I got into Real Estate in 1975 and in 1980 got my Broker License and sold Real Estate until 2010 ( Leonard Realty ) for 35 years. I was very fortunate in this business as it was and still is my passion. - Also, in 1975 I also got a part time job working for Golden West Airlines and then after a year I was working full time with them until 1979. I was very fortunate and got to travel around the world at a young age with amazing airline travel benefits. That 5 year period was unforgettable. My favorite place to go is Hawaii where I got to surf a lot, I have been to Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, England, Paris, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Bogota Columbia, Bahamas, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and many other places. - In 1983 I got a full time job with Coast to Coast Terminals in Irvine selling Fax and Telex machines and worked their until 1988 with top sales achievement. - In 1986 my accountant wanted me to represent him and add more clients to his firm. I took his company from 3 clients to 100 clients in 3 years. - In 1988 I sold a fax machine to a company in Carson by the name of Document Systems Inc, and the owner wanted me to sell his Real Estate Document software and said he would call me in 6 months. He called me in 6 months and I helped him sell software for 26 years in Carson and Torrance. I sold his software over the phone and traveled all over the USA and presented the software at trade shows. I helped Document Systems grow the company from 3 customers to thousands of customers. The software is called "DocMagic". The owner is a genius and I worked with him since he was 22 years old for 26 years. He is the most brilliant individual...Expand for more
