Rick's Story
Life
I'm currently an attorney in Tallahassee. I say currently because I took an indirect path to get there. I taught high school for nine years and used my science background (Amherst - B.A. in biology and FSU, B.S. & M.S. in geology). Then off to Mercer Law School at 35 and Florida for an L.LM in tax.
I've been married for 24 years to Nancy from Georgia, but is a Florida Gator. We have two children, Criag 17 and Ryan 14.

ege and compete with our local rowing club and also sponsor a crew at my sons' high school.
I started racing sports cars two years ago in Porsche Club events and also in a vintage series. I've bought a few of the cars I always wanted as a teenager - a '65 Corvette convertible and a Shelby Cobra (replica).
I still see some of my old Gables buddies from time to time - Charlie Parsons & Karl Pond (both in Atlanta), Bob Trescott (Miami), Roger Hess (Wash.,DC), and Lyle Muller (Memphis).
