Rick's Story
Life
I married Nancy Stewart <Charleston High>in 1982. Nancy works for NIH.
I have two children. Jimmy 19 who is a freshman at Towson Univ in Baltimore. He currently is a member of the Towson mens swim team and studying computers. Jennifer 16 is a sophmore at Gaithersburg HS and is memeber of the swim team and honor roll student.
We currently have one German Shepard but are looking to adopt another. We have had as many as two in the past.
I enjoy playing golf,just chillin' by the ocean, working out and attending my kids swim meets. In recent years I have begun to work with some charities in the Washington DC area.
In 1998 I earned a black belt in Kung Fu and have trained full contact fighters.

n Sc and my mother just retired from the school system where she was the school secretary at Spring Hill Jr and McKinnely Jr. My brother ED currently teaches school at McKinnely Jr.
College
Graduated in 1981 Cum Laude with a degree in Construction Management.
Workplace
I am currently the Regional Vice President of Construction for AvalonBay Communities. We are an apartment REIT with over 140 Communties on both the East and West Coast. I am responsible for all of our garden apartment construction for the East Coast and Mid West regions that include the states of MD, VA, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, DC, MI and Il. We currently have 12 communities under construction.
Prior to joining AvalonBay I worked for residential developers / builders in the greater Washington, DC area.
