Rick's Story
High school really sucked. Thank God it lasted only 3 years. If not for the girls, I doubt I would ever have remained long enough to graduate. So here's to all the young ladies.
Oh, by the way, life is pretty good now. Even though I have experienced a wide variety of circumstances, few have actually resulted in what might be considered an accomplishment.
I have been a Tugboat Boat Captain, a prison guard, crew chief on...Expand for more
a survey team in some of the most undeveloped, primitive areas on the planet, and a pretty damn good electrician. The U.S. Navy had me for a while and then some time was spent becoming highly educated. I eventually earned a degree in Applied Mathematics. Ironically, I failed Algebra in high school.
I now am retired. I am hip deep in kids, step kids, and grandkids and I am pretty sure my wife of 33 years still loves me.
