Rick's Story
After FHS, I got a degree from Midland, and then Creighton Law School. I've been practicing law in Omaha since 1971. My practice involves representation of banks, doing some estate planning and real estate transactions, as well as counseling some business owners.
At Midland, I met my best friend and bride, Marsha. We've been married since 1974.
As the years go by and I'm able to create more free time, Marsha and I have dedicated increasing amounts of time...Expand for more
to travel (Asia and Europe are favorites). We spend some time each winter in Palm Desert, California.
Warm weather is spent at our home near Fremont, on Summerhaven Lake. Besides the maintenance of an acreage, we spend time with our cat, Katy, our dog, Murphy, and using a pontoon boat on the lake.
In the fall, hockey and NU football occupy our spare time.
I spend a lot of time volunteering with Lions Club activities around the world as well as in Nebraska.
