Life
My name is Rick Paulus from Edmunds HS class of 1968 to whoever might be out there in cyberland, who would have ever thought back then that we would be able to do this cyber thing now. Anyway,I played in bands while in HS the Jackstones, and the Footnotes. I joined the Navy alittle over a year after graduation, was supposed to go in as a musician, but they said no. Ended up being an aviation ordinanceman with VA 27 on the USS Enterprise and made two tours of Vietnam back and forth while stationed at NAS Lemoore Calif. After 4 yrs I got out and came home to Sumter and moved to Columbia. I became a Piano Tuner Technician, which I still do 28 yrs ...Expand for more
later, have lived outside of Darlington SC for the last twenty yrs, have played in several other bands over the yrs, and now as of 2 yrs ago am back playing with the Footnotes, we had a 30 yr reunion at Swan Lake and had so much fun that we put the band back together, all 8 original members. How about that! I married for the first time in 1988, was a total bummer except for my 2 wonderful kids, Brandon 12 & Hilary 81/2. Now I am a full time Mr MoM, piano tuning, part time musician, part time song writer, all around fairly good guy who graduated from Edmunds HS in the class of 1968. And a great big hello to anyone that might be out there in cyberland.
