Rick's Story
In Short:
2 Years college after High School
Got married
2 kids
Moved to Des Moines, IA.
Played regionally with a Rock 40 type band while working at a Des Moines Ad Agency as Creative Director.
Still married.
Stopped playing music cold turkey due to need to do it exclusively or not at all.
Work related move to Nashville, TN (no, not because of aspirations of being a country music star)
Another Creative Director job in a corporate video distributor, then to a Nashville Ad Agency doing movie and web design.
Back to the corporate Design Job but as Creative Director over an...Expand for more
in-house movie studio that distributes independent films.
Still married.
One Grand Child that's currently living in Germany.
Still doing artwork for movies. I've realized that my life makes more sense as an 'artist' than it does as a 'musician'. Only took 47 years to figure that one out.
Still happily married.
Taking on freelance design work as it finds me, but not necessarily chasing freelance work.
