Rick's Story
Life
I am living in Vancouver, WA with Donna. She is a wonderful woman. I have one daughter, Erin (28).
I try to deny it but I am an adrenaline junkie. I whitewater kayak & canoe, still climb mountains, telemark & backcountry ski, and am back into motorcycling. As a home owner there is the continuing saga of maintaining a yard and house.
Life is good.
Workplace
My work life... Right out of the door, well when Sharon B. opened the door I went to work for Mr. Renner in an electronics test and repair lab. That lasted a couple of years until marriage, child, divorce. At that point a new career was...Expand for more
developing. Photography! I went to work for a photo lab, then a photographer for Meier & Frank and eventually took over when he left. Through M&F I met wife #2 and move to freelance photography. Since the NW isn't the fashion capital of the world and I was not in a position to leave for Milan or Paris I got out of the biz and took up transportation. First a Limo driver then TriMet: Operated a bus, (Jon Bliley, Tami Hartwig-Bliley, Tim Moore work there too) MAX Train, worked in the Control-room and now at Portland Streetcar moving people from the Waterfront to 23rd Av. I'm having a great time with it.
