Life
Children: One son (an electrical engineer)who lives in Fort Worth. One daughter who lives in Denver.
Married
Pets: Have a 10 year old female dove (her mom left her for me to raise upon the day of her hatching)and two of the worlds best behaved 12 year old Chihuahuas.
Current Job: Director, National Center for Aerospace & Transportation Technologies (NCATT) and adjunct instructor Tarrant County College (TCC).

Collaborations & Other Affiliations:
- In conjunction and partnership with the NCATT Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PI team - authored two successful National Science Foundation Grant Proposals currently totaling in excess of $1.5 million. Note: Not bad when one considers that I never really passed my English Final. The passing grade was a gift from Mr. Hickman.
-In partnership with the NCATT Program Team, facilitate all NCATT Subject Matter Expert Workshops
- In conjunction with the FAA developed all facilities, curriculum and laboratory training projects for FAA certification of Aircraft Technical Learning Center, Inc., as a FAA approved Part 147 School
- In conjunction with the FAA developed and received the first FAA Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) to convert Standard Category Aircraft to the Primary Category
- In conjunction with the FAA, developed the first standards, curriculum and laboratory training projects used in an FAA approved maintenance training program for owners of aircraft converted to the Primary Category through STC
- In conjunction with the FAA, developed the process and documentation procedures for certification of aircraft owners who are awarded a Certificate of Competency after successfully completing an FAA approved Primary Category training course
- In conjunction with Fox 51 ltd, Denton, Texas Developed the only FAA Approved Part 145 Repair Station for North American SNJ / AT6 and P-51 (World War II & Korean era) fighter aircraft
- Developed and received FAA approval for the Maintenance Instructions and Guidance sections of Denton Piper Sales ÂFAA Approved Repair Station Manual
