Risa's Story
I live in queens since 1976. Went to queens college, got a job working for a law firm,also became a paralegal. Married my husband in 1981, my son was born in 1985. Stayed home with him and decided to take a job where I could have flexible hours, so I worked foe Pathmark. My husband died September 11, 2001, but not in the towers, at home. ch was an awful 10 months. What a relief when he got home. My granddaughter Was born in 2005. My son died in 2006, I miss him more than anything, but my granddaughter makes it much easier, she is the light of my life, and we have a great relationship. I just turned 60 as we all will or have, I don't know where the time has gone. But we all still have survived the good and bad times of our lives and hopefully we will for many more years.
