Rita's Story

Life Well, I am on my own for the first time in 28 years. I have three children- Andrew is 30, Alena is 26, and Madison is 23. Alena got married in August of 2009 to a wonderful young man, Sean. She and Sean graduated from BYU in 2011 and welcomed my first grandchild, June, later that year. She has also given me a new grandson, Harrison, and Nana is thrilled. My younger daughter is now attending BYU-Idaho and married her husband, Drew, last August. I am so happy ...Expand for more
she is on the right track.. Andrew is working full time as an insurance broker and flipping real estate in his spare time. I work at Sac State as a degree evaluator and I absolutely love my job. I am currently living in Yuba City with my best friend/soul mate. I've known him for thirty seven years and have only now realized that my life should have always been with him. I feel so, so blessed! It's been a tough road, but I am so looking forward to a happy future!

I say the word “Daddy” and this is what happens. Barely three weeks and they know they are family.❤️
This is how they roll on a Friday night.....🐾❤️🐾❤️
It's been 25 years, a quarter of a century, since I lost the man I first loved and could always depend on. A man of absolute integrity, honesty, fierce loyalty, and full of love for his family. You always knew where you sto
A hundred years ago, one WHOLE century, my mother was born. There are no words that can describe just how wonderful she was. As a surly teenager and a know-it-all young adult, I never saw just how amazing she was. I do now.
Happy National Daughter's Day! ❤️
Better late than never. Happy belated Son's day to the best son a mother could ask for. I love you so much, Andrew. ❤️
So happy to have lunch with this handsome guy. I feel pretty lucky to call this young man son. ❤️
We may not always agree and we may annoy each other at times, but I am blessed. When I was blessed with these girls I knew I was given treasures beyond measure. I love you two with all my heart, to infinity and beyond. Happ

I have two fathers to honor today. To the man that brought a little two week old abandoned baby home, thank you. You taught me what a family was. Your sense of honor, loyalty, and absolute love showed me the kind of father
