Rita's Story

I was an Air Force Brat, leaving 4 years in Germany to live at Randolph AFB and attend MacArthur High for two wonderful years. I married right out of school and had four wonderful children; two still live in Texas one in CA. and one in GA. I now have 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and they're awesome, of course! an Antonio but now live in Houston, writing books. I began the Romance Writers of America writer's association and they are now the world's largest writing organization, having chapters in 40 countries. The association honored me by naming the award for romance writing excellence "The Rita Award". I'm still on the go and enjoy life...what fun it is!!!

Can't believe it! Just got Summer Song into Kindle with a lotta help from Parris! It won the Walden Book Award for the year when it was first released...I loved redoing it...!
