Life
It really is true that life is short and you should enjoy every day. The last five years has brought so much change to my life. I was not able to attend our 30th class reunion because Tom was undergoing cancer treatment and getting ready for a stem cell transplant at Stanford. That was in 2002, which was also our 30th wedding anniversary. Tom passed away in Jan 2004 and I turned 50 that year. I will have to say that I don't remember much about that year, I think I was on auto pilot just trying to survive. or the first time in 52 years, I live on my own. It is very strange, since I married at 18, I never lived on my own. They say that our lives are in chapters, and this is not the way I thought my life would go, but we don't always get choices. I still work for Wells Fargo, and do a lot of business travel. I have found peace with myself and I am enjoying life again. Dating after 32 years of marriage...now that's a whole other story!
