Rita's Story
Life
I am raising my son who will be 16 in Jan 2010. The youngest of five children.
Wow where has time gone. He rolled his Toyota PU over during hunting season. Now we get to re-build his truck.
He is my world right now and I devote the majority of my time to his activities in life and in his future.
We attend church at a little country church. My youngest is also in every sport he can participate in. His priority is wrestling and after taking the 103# District Championships last year 2009 he is planning on starting out in the 103# weight class again this year. He does participate in any other activity he can get involved in as well. He loves to drag mom into whatever he can too. His famous words are "My Mom Can".
My oldest son is in the US Marine Corps. He is my fourth child. On his last home leave his girl friend called me on April 7th at 10:00 AM to tell me I needed to meet them at 1:00 PM (about an hours drive from my home)they were getting married.
My three daughters have blessed me with grandchildren My oldest daughter has two daughters born Nov. 2002 and May 2006 and one son born July 2004, and expecting her fourth. My second daughter has a daughter March 2001 and a son Dec 2004. She lives a ways away from home but we...Expand for more
talk nearly every day. I miss her and her family very much. My youngest daughter has a son born Jan 2007 and a daughter born Oct 2008.
My life still revolves around my children and I enjoy participating in youth wrestling as well as other youth sports and 4x4 activities with my RamCharger and trash car derbies. I was the first woman to win the trash car derby in Albany. I am on the "Screamin Eagle Racing Team". I have ran my RamCharger in the mud drags, obstacle course, and rock climbing. I am re- evaluating my life now and have taken out a three year lease in a nice little farm home in the woods with a small partial of acreage and a barn. I am a very busy person and find it hard to keep myself from over committing. I am gettign ready to take the classes to be a CASA for Native American Children. Also getting registered to do 4H and helping with what I can at the school. I do like quiet evenings out back in the hot tub watching the deer and in the mornings listening to the birds. Our Rooster is now a very pleasant sound as well (since he is past his cracked puberty crow). It is so awesome to just kick back by the river or lake and fish. I still love nature and am still a hopless romantic. Maybe some day it will happen for me.
