Rita's Story
Life
3 kids 2 boys 1 girl. 1 in college on his own, 1 a helicopter mechanic in the Marines and my baby girl is a senior in High School but dual enrolled at the local community college at the same time. Married 22 years. Have 2 cats and 2 dogs a Lab and a yorkie. Live in the Williamsburg Area of Virginia and love it! Most my time is divided between work, home, school and the Naval Reserves. Busy life but very rewarding!
School
Many teachers inspired me though I may not of realized how much until after (much later) I left. WNHS Had some of the finest. Mr. Shore 9th grade english, Mrs. Curtain 7th, 9th and 10th grade math teacher Mr. Brockman Math, The ENTIRE Science department at WNHS- Mr. C., Mr. Wynn, Mr. Stonebreaker, Mr. Rush,,,Didn't take physic but knew Mr. Weaner AWESOME! Mr. Fryar the orchestra teacher...Science and Music combined what did you get? Molecular Fire! Awesome music... Happiest moments were the times with my friends some that I have stayed in contact with Sandy, Scott, Rick, you know who you are! Life long friends to this day! Things I remember about high school,,well sometimes I cringe when I realize my 2 youngest are in high school and my oldest is in College...Yikes!
College

nd Kent State University...20 year break and finally using the credits to get my business degree after all these years...See Mom the money didn't go to waste...Just took alittle longer to get there! Currently attending Thomas Nelson Community College in Virginia...Stranges moments...Walking into class for the first day to find your son has enrolled in the same class...Ouch that's scarry!
Workplace
Work as a government contractor Site Manager for almost 15 years now (Same program). Also in the Naval Reserves see Military for that history... Been to many places and love the job...oh "it's not just a job it's an adventure!" Hoping though to retire in the near future (next 2 years) ..It's bad when you have kids your training and they are younger than your kids! IT's time to retire...But I have loved the Adventure!
Military
Pretty much explained it under work....Joined the Navy in 1983 to Bootcamp Orlando, FL on to A-School in Millington TN to become an ASE Aviations Support Equipment Electrician. Jacksonville FL for extra "specialized" training...Sigonella Sicily "The tip of the boot of Italy". Brunswick Maine and the past 15 years here in Norfolk both shore duty, Administration Duty "Safety Center" and currently Aircraft Carriers. Currently hold the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer E8
