Rita's Story

Life Hi Anyone and Everyone who comes to visit this site! If you are so interested, I am currently employed in a local charter school as a Middle School Social Studies teacher with 6 certifications plus my SPED cert with a Masters. I am currently in the second year of my Ph.D. courses for education. When you last saw me, (other than the 10 year class reunion), I was single, about ready to get married...in fact I did, 6 days after we graduated Lincoln... I now have 5 children, 4 girls, 1 boy, and 2 step daughters. I was married for 18 years to Bill, and then we divorced, ces't la vie, and I have since fallen madly in love with my soul mate and we have been married for 7 years! So how goes it with you? I miss Lincoln and the staff and often find myself wondering about my classmates. I hope everyone has had a prosperous and wonderful life as I have so far! My best to all who read this! Rita School My biggest crush? While in grade, middle, and high school...A guy with the initals P.H. Will I embarass him and myself by coming right out and naming him? Heck no! But if you knew our gang, then you knew who I was madly in love with for over 9 years! What teacher inspired me most? HA! My French teacher, Mr. Denado...What a guy! Would I do it all over again if I could? NO WAY! Life is good and it took a long time to get where I am now! I am thrilled that my life has taken the many turns that it has. Each moment has been a learning experience! The one person from my past who I'd ...Expand for more
most like to see again is Stacy Ashton, because she was one of my favorite childhood friends who moved too soon. Sad to say, too soon before the Net otherwIse we would have been able to keep in touch easier!. The coolest thing about having 5 kids and teaching 125 every year is that I am up on all the latest tricks. I myself, did so many crazy things while in school that when my kids get caught (I'm great and finding this crap out), I'm not at all surprised because most likely, I did it! What have I learned from my kids? Well, it's no longer called making out-it's now called: being with. Also, it's no longer rounding the bases or the horizontal mambo, but it's called something else which REALLY threw me! I had no idea until I intercepted one of my student's text messages!! We had a whole class about the terminology! If I won $100 million, I'd throw a big huge BBQ and invite my closest of friends. In a fancy box, I would have a check with a note that gave the stipulation that they all have to come visit me every year for at least a weekend in South Carolina, then I would spend about 399,000 on a huge home on Paradise Island in SC, (it has 6 bedrooms, 5 baths, 9 car garage, and an inground swimming pool with a 50 ft dock!!) I'd buy a boat to sit at my dock and cruise the ICW and I'd buy a new truck! The rest, I would invest wisely and support myself, my hubby, and our children and paint with water colors while sitting on my dock, fish, crab, and enjoy every day of my life!!!
