Ritchie's Story
Will make this somewhat succinct-
- After Farm Life - on to ECU
- Entered USMC after graduation. Spent 20+ years as an infantry officer, visited about 60 countries most of which I would prefer not to return to. Married then divorced and no children.
- Most interesting (fun) place I was stationed was New Orleans
- Most exciting was Washington DC - particularly year spent working in the White House.
- Retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1996.
- Continuing to work with the federal government...Expand for more
. Member of Senior Executive Service managing a facility and 1000 member workforce of the Defense Intelligence Agency in Charlottesville, VA.
- Expect to retire in early 2016 and will likely be spending some time in eastern NC before I move to what I expect will be my retirement locations - Outer Banks and Las Vegas. - Yes, I know those are opposites.
- Just started building a home for my mom in Vanceboro, so I will be heading that way fairly often for a while.
