Rivka's Story
Life
I have been living in Israel for the past 30 years (since
university)
Have been married 27 years - have 4 children 2 of which
are married ,the third is engaged to be married this (2007)december.
My husband and I live in Beit El - a settlement north of
Jerusalem(benyamin).
I have worked in a number of fields: Teaching,accounting
Computer programing/DBA and have recently qualified as
a Tonenet Rabanit- a lawyer in Rabbinical court.
Have worked in computers for the last 15 years
and at present am employed as a DBA for the education ministry.
My husband also has worked in a number of fields-
He origionally studied Agricultural economics in
England(He is from england). So at first we were farmers
in Ramat HaGolan. Then he worked in economics in
Banks and Goverment offices in jerusalem. Retrained
and for the past 15 years has been working in computers in the Israeli finance ministry.
My oldest daughter has a 3 year old son and is expecting her second child. They live on a moshav(agricultural settlement) in southern Israel.Her husban...Expand for more

grows lemons and oranges,has a small fruit packing business and does the accounts for other farms.She does secterarial work and studies interia design.
My second daughter got married in Feb and is expecting her first child - she finishes nursing school this year.
her husband just got out of the army and is now working
in jerusalem(they live around the corner from us in Beit El). My third daughter studied graphics and design and
is now working in it this past year.Her intended is is his last year studying Electronic engineering in Ariel College - they both are and will continue living in
Ariel (a settlement in the shomron)till he finishes.
My son (the youngest) is in Hesdar Yeshiva in Har Bracha
(also in the shomron) Hesdar is a 5 year program combining Army service and religious studies.He also
does alot of volenteering for Magen David Adom(Israeli
emergency/ambulance service)
1/2008 update third daughter -shira is now married
eldest daughter - Ruchuma now has another son
5/2008 update second daughter Arielia has a baby daughter
