Rob's Story
Life
I have been enjoying married life for the last 25 years. I was lucky enough to find the one for me in a beautiful Italian girl. I met her back in 2nd grade when I moved next door to her, on Conestoga Way in San Jose, and you may remember her as Laura Manarello. We are going to celebrate our 28th year in Apr 09. We have two beautiful children...Miranda who is 26 and is married to a great guy Joel. They bought the home next door to us so I get to see my granddaughter Loriah everyday...Nick my son is 25 and lives in town too, about 5 miles away, he has a son Aiden also and we get to see him about once a week. Laura and I used to wild "back in the day" but our whole world did a 180 turn when we gave our hearts and lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm so glad we did. After my retirement from 25 years in the Air Force I am now I Pastor a church in West Roseville,Ca. West Part Fellowship. We have our own family, a small group of friends and a large church family to connect with and share our lives with. It's awesome! School
Wow...school was hard for me. I didn't go all the time and my mother didn't make me go so it was way down on the totem pole of important things but thanks to my very best friend...Laura Manarello I was able to hang in there. She would come and get me up and walk with me to school. Some of the deepest conversations I've ever had were on the way to and from school. We use to stop at a brick wall and sit there and smoke cigarettes and talk about all the really important issues in life...like who likes who and who broke up with who. I am so grateful for Laura's friendship and now her love since I married her over 20 years ago.
