Rob's Story
Life
I am a fourth generation Montanan. I was born in and lived in Billings until 1996. I went to 10 different schools growing up. I had many friends and met alot of people but never made too many real close friends because we moved so often. I wrestled for many years and was very athletic. I attended West High, Senior High and graduated from Skyview. I must say I liked Skyview the most. I have been working a full time job since the summer after graduation. I worked several construction related jobs before accepting a position as blue print boy at Roscoe Steel Co. in 1989. I worked very hard at Roscoe Steel and soon was promoted to project manager. In 1994 I married a girl from Portland whom I had been seeing for about 3 years. We had a son (Blake Ballard) in 1995 and we divorced in 1996. God how marriage changes people. My ex wife and son now live in Seattle. I left Roscoe Steel in 1995 and moved to Arizona...Expand for more
in 1996. I met a girl from Arizona in 1997 and had a daughter with her (Brooke Ballard) in 1998. We seperated in 1999. I am currently Vice President for a large steel fabrication/erection company here and have approx. 165 employees working under me. I have a nice life but I miss Montana, my family and the friendliness of the people. I would like to hear from anyone that may remember me to share some laughs and some stories.

Workplace
Graduated- worked odd jobs for about six months. Started working for Roscoe Steel (Billings) in 1996 as an estimator. Worked for 2 years as an estimator, then promoted to Sr. estimator, and later project manager. Moved to Arizona in 1996- Started working for Skyline Steel as a project manager, estimator and purchasing agent. In 1999 I was promoted to general manager. I am currently vice president and have appx. 165 employees working under me.
