I've been working in research and development ever since I graduated from Michigan State. I first went to MITRE (1995-2000) where I focused on Artificial Intelligence and Distributed computing, earning the propeller on my hat. id get a patent and learn about some interesting user modeling technique. Then in 2001, I went to a research company, Alphatech, where I "learned to fish", writing research proposals, successfully transferring research into deployed systems.
All in all, I remain a geek in spirit and in practice, always curious about the world, the human mind, ever fascinated with gadgets.
