I've had a few adventures over the years, including 11 years as a reporter and copy-editor at the Tulsa World, a stint as a layworker at a mission in Guatemala, bicycling across Argentina and writing, ghosting or editing about 60 books. Don't be too impressed -- writing is a good way to starve. Never a good idea to quit your day job!
