Life
Where have I been since 1979? I've been shacking up with my better half in the East Village for 18 years now (doesn't that mean we're legally married?) She doesn't think so (Whew!). I'm a musician who managed to play steadily while holding down "straight" jobs, on hiatus for a few years now (Think I'm jaded by the current music scene??). My girlfriend is a bellydancer, and we live with 2 cats who we treat as if they were our children, since we have none, and aren't planning on making any! e to the left of Chairman Mao, especially with the lovely folks in Washington now. Thank God I really don't look TOO much older now than I did then, although my waistline keeps reminding me little by little that I am 44 years old! What do I have to show for it? Not much. Some grey hair (actually, lots of it!), a pack and a half a day cigarette habit(menthol, please!), loads of healthy skepticism, and not much money! Money is way overrated, anyway. Am I happy? Well, happier. I definitely miss my H.S. days. Doesn't everybody??
