Rob's Story
Life
After graduating from North Montgomery, I went to college at St. Louis Christian College in St. Louis, Missouri. I graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ministry. While in college, I met my wife, Joni. We have three pretty good kids, Hannah (8), Hunter (6), and Harmon (1-22-02). I worked my way through college playing the guitar and working in restaurants and other odd jobs. I also started preaching in some small churches around St. Louis. s. For 2 years, I served another small church in Alton, IL (A St. Louis suburb) as Youth Minister. I now serve a church in Flora, IL (my wife's hometown), for 2 years as Youth Minister and 1999 as Worship (music) Minister. Joni and I homeschool (she was Valedictorian of her graduating class) our children and live on a farm less than a mile from her parents. Joni runs a home based business, After Hours Word Processing, and is a medical transcriptionist. She has her degree in Physical Therapy assistance, and has worked as a PTA for 6 years.
