Life
Hi Spartans and Spartanette, I feel like a heel for not keeping in touch with so many of you after our last reunion. Please forgive me. I am really looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend. I live in Hollywood again after about ten years in Atlanta. I live at 4315 Roosevelt Street. Stop by sometime and say hello. My 21 year old son, Tom, lives with me and attends BCC. We have been having a wonderful time. We both discovered that we love boating and have made it our pasttime. We have two great dogs too, Buster and Heidi. I'm single after a 20 year marriage, three children and a wonderful ex wife. It was tough to keep things together and travel more than staying home. Work wise, I discovered early on that I loved flying airplanes and have spent the last twenty five years flying everything I could get my hands on, I flew the A-4 and the F-18 for the Marines for a long time and have been flying for Delta for the past 18 years, I'm currently a international captain flying the Boeing 767 ER to Europe and South America. I practiced law for a while but lost my passion for it, I might pick it up again if I go blind and can't find a flying job or job fishing, or if someone would let me argue a case before the supremes! In the mean time, I pretty much ride my bike to the beach and swim in the ocean ...Expand for more
every chance I get. I ran into Dick Sultrick at the YMCA a few months ago. I told him that most of what I learned about good sportsmanship I learned from him, which is the God's honest truth. He seems to be doing well and I was very proud to have some time to talk with him. I gather he keeps a golf game regularly scheduled at orange brook or echo. I wish I had more to tell but I think that covers the big pieces of my life. My home number is 954-987-3808. I hope to see you all at the reunion.
School
My biggest crush would be Gayle Swissman. I loved that girl! If only I knew how lucky I was when I dated her in high school. The funniest thing I ever remember from high school was when Aldo Bagiotti, Greg Kimble, Langworthy and me were driving home one night from working in Miami and Greg Kimble ripped into Aldo because he stood up one of the girls we worked with because he spent all his money on a new bowling ball and couldn't afford to take her to her prom at madonna. Aldo asked Greg how he knew, and Greg sang all four verses of "I heard it on a Grapevine" He then told Aldo what an awful guy he was for treating his girlfriend so bad and told him he might as well model his life after the song "third rate romance" which he then sang to Aldo the rest of the way home. I think Aldo changed his life after that.
