John (Robbi) Painter:  

I am (Robbi) John Painter. I attended Parker High School in the 8th grade and prior to that, Monaghan Elementary School for grades 1-7. After moving to Columbia, S. C. I attended Olympia High School for part of the 8th grade. After that we moved to Charlotte and I attended Hawthorne Junior High School in the 9th grade and then on to Central High School in the tenth grade. In 1957' I moved to Channelview, Tx . And attended the 11th & 12th grades and graduated there in the class of 1959. I attended Lee Junior College several semesters and many other learning experiences, not forgetting the school of Hard Knox. In 1972 after working for Upjohn Co. for 8 years, I started Channel Machine Works which later became Enpro Systems Inc. Worked with this endeavor for 36 years and sold to the Curtiss Wright Corp. in 2006 and retired. I was in the Texas Air Nat'l Guard 147th Unit for 6 years, 1962-1968.
