Robbie's Story
Wanted to become a doctor when I graduated from High School. Figured out real fast, that was way more work than what I was willing to put in. Being a smart guy, I married a doctor instead!!!!! Enabled me to take up fishing, eventually specializing in brown trout and water operations. (Jane & I have been together 26 years --she's a very patient woman!!)
Doctoring is in the genes though. Son Bryan, is applying to medical schools as I type. Already a lot farther along the path than I got!
Son Chris, is a different story altogether!!! Currently working on his 3rd of 4yrs at communit...Expand for more
y college. He's what's known as an experiencial learner, aka "school of hard knocks". Upon completing his 2 year program in 4 years, he shall enter the brewmasters guild program in Sacramento in 2011!!
Me?? I retired in 2006 and now invest in, flip and broker real estate. Jane is my parner in rehabbing and stager extroidinaire; and Chris helps out when it gets to crunch time!! (Bryan's pretty much worthless at this kind of stuff, but can shuttle food if needed.) A real family affair & I'm having the time of my life!! Besides doctoring, this is something I've wanted to do since HS.
