Robbin's Story
Life
I am happy and healthy mother of two. Shawna Leigh is my oldest. She is 13 and became a Bat Mitzvah last weekend. Jake Ryan is 9 years old. I have been married for 13 years to Steve Gregson a native Californian. He is a full time Boat Captain on a research vessel. We live in Southern California on the Palos Verde Peninsula. I am a full time mom and part time psychotherapist. I have had a private practice for 15 years here in the South Bay of Los Angeles. I ran the "Eating Disorders" Unit at South Bay Hospital in the late 80's and early 90's. I also teach at Cal. State University, Dominguez Hills. I teach a class on Diagnosis and Treatment of Eating Disorders for Health Care Professionals.
I travel home to Clearview at least once or twice a year to visit my mom (dad past away 2 years ago), sister Stacy, brother-in-law and my nephew Michael,21 and my neice Ariel age 17.

College
Studied at York College. Left after 1 yr. Took a year off from school. Went to QCC for a yr. and transfered to Queens. Went through the ACE program while working for HBJ publishers during the day. Graduated Queens in '81.
Workplace
After graduating from Queens College I went into direct Computer Sales with Moore Business Forms. After a major skiing accident ending my "outside" sales career, I moved to California and went back to grad school for Clinical Psych. I was working for Werner Erhard and Assoc. and Herment (communications seminars). I did well there and decided to learn more about it to go into business for myself.
I found myself facinated by the grad work I was doing. Interned at South Bay Therapuetic Clinic and Center for Counseling and Recovery. Was Program Director at the Rader Institute for Eating Disorders and taught at Cal State Dominguez Hills for many years.
Currently I am in private practice in Torrance, CA and love what I do. I work part time and have two young children.
