Bob's Story
Moved from Queens, New York to New Jersey when I was eight, and to Minnesota when I was twelve. In Minnesota my teacher Noel Johnson introduced me to computers. My first company created "Scepter of Goth," the first commercial MMORPG and the great-grandfather of games like "World of Warcraft". In 1991 I co-authored the Internet Gopher protocol that helped pave the way for the modern Internet. Presently I'm working as a computer security consultant.
Married since 1989, we have twins born 1991 and our youngest in 1993.
I read, work out, bike, write, and parent.

I survived St. Francis despite bullying and even once being beaten unconscious. The good things about St. Francis were computers, speech, and theater. No...Expand for more
el Johnson is responsible for my success and I miss him a lot.
I went to college at the U of MN, where St. Francis left me hilariously unprepared for things like studying and homework. Between lacking study skills and my first business, I never graduated. I am currently scheduled to get my undergraduate degree in 2012.
In August 2006 my family and I swapped homes with a German family and lived in Neumark, near Nuremberg. That fantastic trip is available on my blog at albatross then a dot, then org.
My twins are halfway through college, my youngest is halfway through high school. When this expensive era of paying for college is complete, I hope to be able to undertake more creative endeavors such as writing or photography.
