Robert's Story
Life (2008)
Greetings,
Robs bio Weve been living in Tucson Arizona for the past 7 years. Three kids and very happily married for almost 7 years now. Have my own small residential and commercial contracting business.
Met Nelly (my wife and best friend) in Bogota Colombia in 1990 while on vacation there. She didnt speak any English and I didnt speak Spanish but we hit it off from the start. I made a few more trips to visit and we were married in August of 2000. She moved to Hattiesburg Mississippi where I was a teacher at a community college. Teaching Injection Mold Design and Manufacturing. We then prepped and sold our house and took the RV on the road to Rogers Arkansas where we prepped and sold another home I had been renting out. Then we moved to Tucson Arizona so I could be closer to my son Robert Douglas. (Divorced and the X took him there).
Got a job in Tucson at Krebbs Engineers as a Mechanical Engineer. Worked there for 5 months while battling my way through the Arizona legal system to get more visitation time with my (at that time) only son.
Nelly dug in and started learning English and took on two jobs. Shortly thereafter she was pregnant (those little blue birth control pills do not work!). In December of 2001 our daughter Vanessa Josephine Anderson was born. ...Expand for more
This was one of the greatest moments of my life.
I got a job working at Tri-Tronics as a project engineer and loved my job. Worked there for a year and Nelly was pregnant again. On Memorial Day of 2002 Thunder Anderson was born.
Job at Tri-Tronics abruptly ended and I took that as an opportunity to finally go it on my own. Thought it would take a couple of months to get the business up and going. WRONG! Took a few years, but it is finally now paying off.
Kids are now; 10 years old- Robert, 5 years old-Vanessa, and 4 years old-Thunder. I had "the surgery" a few years ago. Why mention this? Tell your freinds not to rely on BC pills. - not that I'm complaing as we have good kids.
Id guess life is the same for me as it is for many of my classmates from NCHS. Its severely kicked the crap out of me a few times while at the same time there have been rewards with family that have made it all worth while.
If you havent seen me since high school Ive mellowed a lot and am not nearly so self righteous as I was. I still love the Lord, am active at a local church and pray a fair bit.
Really wanted to go to the class reunion with my wife Nelly, but we were not able to break free from work.
Sincerely and Most Respectfully,
Rob A.
