Robert's Story
Since leaving the hallowed halls of Mendel I have:
- graduated from DePaul University as a BS in Math;
- served as a Captain in the US army;
- worked in Germany, France, England, Scotland, India and China;
- been married to a most lovely lady since 1969;
- worked for Allstate, CNA, Lockheed Martin, Perot Systems, Sherwood International, & Coldwell Banker
- currently am a broker with Koenig&Strey GMAC
- held positions as Chief Ammunition Maintenance, Depot Planning Officer, Systems Analyst, Business Consultan...Expand for more
t, Systems Architect, and Realtor.
- lived in Chicago, Wheeling, Northbrook and Glenview where we currently reside.
- raised 3 children who as adults became a lawyer (Brendan), a policeman/realtor (Brian) and a missionary (Danielle).
My son, Brendan, is currently a candidate for the State Senate in the IL 9th Senatorial District that covers Glenview, Wilmette, Winnetka, Skokie, Morton Grove and Evanston.
I've always felt Mendel has been a great foundation and I still proudly wear my class ring. Go Mendel!
