Robert's Story
Life
After working as an accountant all my working life I retired in 2013 and moved from the beach to the desert. At first it was a hard transformation but now I'm a river rat. One of my most cherished life journeys was and is being a Dad and a Grandad, I have a son and daughter and 2 step daughters who all treat me better than any dad could ask. ars I coached/administered several youth sports leagues. I feel fortunate to be in good health and able to participate in activities I enjoy. If you look closely at my photo I'm sitting on a bench that's at the end of the HB pier. The bench has a plaque that says "In Honor of Bob "Mr Wonderful" Atchue". I feel blessed for two reasons, first because the vast majority of the benches say "In Memory of" and second my wife and kids consider me "Mister Wonderful" I got them fooled !
